Safety and Usage Precautions
- Do not disconnect internal vehicle power while the ignition switch is on to prevent damage to sensors or ECU.
- Avoid placing magnetic objects near the ECU to prevent circuitry failure.
- Cut off ECU system power before performing welding work on the vehicle.
- Exercise caution around ECU and sensors during nearby operations.
- Ground yourself when disassembling PROM components to prevent static electricity damage.
- Ensure the ECU harness connector is securely connected; loose connections may damage internal electronic components such as ICs.
- This instrument is a precision electronic device. Handle with care and avoid impact or dropping.
- Power supply must come from a 12V battery only – do not use alternative voltage sources.
- Turn off the ignition switch before connecting or disconnecting the diagnostic connector.
- Store the EasyDiag in its designated slot on the back of the protective casing to prevent loss.
