Done many CAS3 units with the solderless adapter and had no problems at all. You have to take your time cleaning and preparing all contact points on the unit (about 5 minutes). Sometimes it’s tricky to connect the adapter properly, but it’s definitely worth it.

I just used mine on a CAS3++—it worked, but it took a lot of adjusting and cleaning to get a good connection. Next time, I’ll do some deep cleaning first.
