Lifetime Free Updates

1. Download the upgrade program from www.anceltech.com to a Windows 10 computer.
2. Connect the reader to the computer via a mini USB cable.
3. Select the ABOUT/Update Mode menu to enter update mode.
4. Launch the update program and select the appropriate port.
5. Click "Start Upgrade" to begin.
6. Upon completion, a prompt appears. Check the new version number under ABOUT/Tool Information.

Recovery After Update Interruption

If an update fails and the system crashes, re-enter update mode as follows:

1. Disconnect the USB cable, power off the reader, then press and hold the Enter key.
2. Reconnect the reader to the Windows 10 computer via mini USB cable.
3. Release the Enter key when all three indicator lights illuminate—the reader will re-enter update mode.
